Tip #43: Use the Sensor Cleaner on Your Camera
Many of the newer camera bodies have a feature to clean the sensor area. Although it is still best to have your camera body, and lenses, cleaned by a professional once in a while, it is a great idea to clean the sensor on your own as well. This feature is available through the main menu and only takes less than a minute to complete.
For example, on my Nikon D800 and D3s this feature is available under the setup menu.
